Nurtured in an environment surrounded by the mountains always made us curious about the Himalayas and the adventures they hold.

In Abroad, adventure tourism has seen growth in the late 20th and early 21st centuries as tourists seek out-of-the-ordinary or “roads less travelled.
We at Hello Himalayas & Peakfreak Adventures are a group of childhood friends trying to make a difference in the field of adventure tourism in India.
Here we focus on many adventure activities such as 4wd (wheel drive) expeditions, trekking, mountain biking, Atv/Quad bike adventures, over landing expedition’s, ice climbing, wildlife spotting, stargazing and many more.
Our team consists of certified leaders who hold professional degrees in the field of mountaineering, skiing, tourism and 4wd expeditions.
Working enthusiastically in the mountains from the past 6 years have made us efficient & effective enough to deal with the difficulties, obstacles and mountain hazards we face in such harsh conditions and rugged terrains.

Winters in Spiti transforms the valley into a stunning, albeit harsh, white desert landscape. While the summer months are ideal for trekking and other activities, the winter season offers unique opportunities for all the motorsport enthusiasts and adventure seekers to test their ability and machine. Spiti is also known for its ice-based sports like ice skating and ice hockey, as well as a serene, crowd-free experience. However, extreme cold and heavy snowfall can make travel challenging, with temperatures dropping to -30°C and roads often being blocked.
Winter in Spiti
Winter in Spiti is characterized by extremely low temperatures, with daytime highs ranging from -5°C to -15°C and nighttime lows potentially reaching -30°C.
Heavy Snowfall:
The region receives significant snowfall during winter, which can lead to road closures and make travel difficult.
Frozen Landscapes:
Rivers and lakes freeze over, creating a picturesque winter wonderland.
Ice-Based Activities

Himalayan Wildlife
Spiti Valley’s wildlife includes endangered species like the Snow Leopard, Himalayan Ibex, Blue Sheep (Bharal), Red Fox, Tibetan Wolf, and Himalayan Brown Bear, thriving in its cold desert, alpine meadows, and rocky terrains, protected within areas like Pin Valley National Park and Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Key bird species like the Snowcock and Golden Eagle also inhabit the region, alongside unique flora like alpine wildflowers and medicinal plants, forming a rich, yet sparse, high-altitude ecosystem.
Wildlife spotting and photography can be a great adventure activity which one can go for to experience the utmost beauty of the Himalayas.
Day 1: Arrival at Shimla & drive to Narkanda

Day 2: Narkanda - Kalpa

Night stay & dinner at Kalpa.
Day 3: Kalpa to Kaza
Early morning breakfast around 8 a.m and drive towards Kaza.

Breakfast around 8:30 a.m & drive to Key monastery – Chicham Bridge – Kibber circuit

Breakfast around 8 :30 a.m & drive to Langza – Komic – Hikkim circuit…!

Day 6: A day full of adventures in Kaza & Rangrik

Snow Drive to Hull Village alongside the magnificent views of Spiti valley ( 50 km )
Atv rides in Rangrik ( optional)

Important Note
All terrain tyres in good condition recommended
The self drive cars should have a proper recent service record.
All oils and mechanical parts should be in good condition.
To prevent freezing add antifreeze coolant with 0% water.
Bookings and cancellation policy
- 25% booking amount must be paid 30 days prior to the expedition.
- Full amount to be paid 7 days prior to the expedition
- Booking amount won’t be refundable in case of any cancellation of the respective trip.
