Day 1: Arrive in Cochin - Munnar

Upon your arrival in Cochin, our tour representatives will greet you and take you to Munnar. Visit the Athirappilly Falls on the way. Check-in to your hotel and relax for a while before heading out to explore Munnar.

First, you will be taken to the Mattupetty Dam, a concrete gravity dam which was built for the purpose of water conservation. Make your way to Kundala Lake, surrounded by forests and scenic views. Get back to your hotel at night.

Wrapped in peace and tranquility, Munnar is famous for its tea plantations, hills, and thrilling outdoor activities.

Make your way to Echo Point, which serves as the meeting point of three mountain ranges, namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. Some of the activities you can enjoy here are birdwatching, boating, and nature walks. Explore the Eravikulam National Park, which is situated in the Kannan Devan Hills and where you can spot leopards, tigers, giant squirrels, and sloth bears.

Once you finish having a delicious breakfast, leave for Thekkady from Munnar. After completing the check-in formalities, proceed to explore the Periyar National Park. Also known as the Periyar Tiger Reserve, it is home to tigers, elephants, leopards, lion-tailed macaques, and the Indian bison.

After getting done with your breakfast, you have the rest of the day to spend the way you want to.

Check out of your hotel once you get done with your breakfast. You will be transferred to Cochin from where you can board your flight or train back home.
